I. General

• Recycled PlayFALL rubber safety surfacing tiles are manufactured using SBR rubber granules and buffings with either color pigments or EPDM color granules. Colors to be selected from North West Rubber standard colors. Custom colors are available on request.
• Installation must follow manufacturer’s standard Installation Procedures.
• PlayFALL safety tiles are covered by a limited 5 year manufacturer’s warranty.
• PlayFALL safety tiles are manufactured to comply with ASTM-1292-04 attenuation standards and exceed ADA requirements.

II. Materials

• PlayFALL rubber safety tiles are made from recycled SBR "truck" tire rubber buffings and granules. (Truck tires are used rather than car tires because of the superior grade of rubber.) The tiles are made in a dual layer format with the upper finish layer having a higher density for stability, and the lower layer including stanchions at a reduced density for optimum impact attenuation. Standard Colors are produced by using a pigment additive mixed with the non-toxic polyurethane binder. EPDM color rubber granule finishes are also available for top layer.
• PlayFALL rubber safety tiles are 24"  x  24"  and are available in five thicknesses:

 45mm (1.75") ,  65mm (2.5") ,  75mm (3") , &  85mm (3.25"), 107mm (4.25”)

• Interlock pins for placing into preset holes for surface security and integrity:

PVC  dowels  15mm (5/8") round  x  75mm (3") long

• Accessories available:

	a. Beveled Edge Ramps for transition from top of tile to grade,

III. Inspection Requirements

• A thorough inspection of PlayFALL safety tiles and all accessories must be done on site upon delivery, to ensure proper quantity and integrity of materials.
• A thorough review of site conditions must be performed to ensure structural integrity and proper completion of any and all site preparation.
• Refer to complete PlayFALL Installation Manual specifications and procedures, as prepared by North West Rubber, for preparation and installation details.
